Chiefs have had mixed fortunes in the local tournaments thus far. In mid-last week, Stuart Baxter's side succumbed to their first league defeat when they were ousted 2-0 by SuperSport United, but were in rampant mood this past weekend when they defeated minnows, Edu Sports FC, 4-0 in the Nedbank Cup last 32. In the first leg match at the Calabash, it took a last minute gasp header from skipper, Tefu Mashamaite, to seal the match for the home side, as they take a 2-1 lead into the second leg. "Masha" tells the Siya crew that they have now shifted their focus to the champions league. He said the players know how to concentrate on different tournaments at different times. "It won't be easy playing in three tournaments within seven days but we have to be focused on all the games we are playing in. Now our focus is on the champions league. "We know Rollers are a good side and we are prepared for a good game. We want to go there and come back with a win and qualify for the next round," Mashamaite explained.
