Chiefs snatched a late 2-1 win over the champions of Botswana this weekend, needing a last gasp Tefu Mashamaite goal to claim victory in what was expected to be an easy game for the Amakhosi.
Baxter's side now have to travel to Gaborone knowing that their opponents have an away goal and only need a 1-0 win to secure their place in the next round.
The Glamour Boys' head coach has hit out at the likes of Willard Katsande and Reneilwe Letsholonyane, saying that they gave away possession far too cheaply.
Baxter told Chiefs' official website, "I have never seen our defensive midfielder pairing lose so many balls through sloppy passing. They are normally brilliant, but not tonight. Even worse was that they lost possession of the ball in very bad positions on the field."
