Masango told the Siya crew that his side learnt a lot from the previous tournament, and that they are now better prepared to take on the competition this time around. Speaking to the crew, the speedy winger said, "The biggest thing that we learnt from last year is that we should make sure we win our home games convincingly and try not to concede. "Most of us are used to playing in CAF competitions because we've played for the national team at junior or senior level. The AFCON experience that some of us had this year will add to that experience, plus it's a good confidence boost going into the Champions League." When asked about how important the mental strength of he and his teammates will be, Masango replied, "A mental toughness is extremely important in this tournament because there are lots of obstacles that you face, especially during away games, so you need to be prepared mentally and be ready to overcome those challenges. "Since we took part in last year's CAF Champions League we've learned a lot and that will help us going forward."
