The Siya crew has been led to believe that Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos and under-23 mentor David Notoane are set to meet to discuss the selection of players, with indications that Mamelodi Sundowns' Cassius Mailula is a top priority.
Insiders have revealed that the attacker looks set to be prioritized for the senior national team.
Bafana will take on Liberia in two matches for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, while the national under-23s will have a camp of their own for friendly matches to prepare for the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The under-23s are set to play against Congo over two legs in the third and final round of qualifiers later this month.

Both Broos and Notoane are understood to be keen on having Mailula in their squads for the crucial matches this month, but the in-form Sundowns striker looks set to get his first senior team call-up.
Broos has shown that he is not afraid to give young players who show potential a chance to prove themselves in the senior national team and Mailula has certainly not been fazed by challenges, banging in the goals for Sundowns both locally and in the CAF Champions League. The experience he is gaining in the Champions League puts him in a good position to handle the pressure of playing for Bafana.
Mailula is having a dream first season in the top flight, with 12 goals and four assists in all competitions.
