Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has admitted that he is anxious over medical reports he is meant to receive for two Mamelodi Sundowns players, while an Orlando Pirates striker has been called up.
Bafana are currently in camp for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda, but the Belgian could be forced to make changes if Sundowns duo Grant Kekana and Thapelo Maseko are not available for action.
As it is, RC Strasbourg striker Lebo Mothiba has now been ruled out, with Orlando Pirates' Evidence Makgopa confirmed as his replacement.

Kekana was not involved in Sundowns' African Football League final against Wydad Casablanca at Loftus Stadium on Sunday, while Maseko came on as a second half substitute, before being named the MVP of the competition after the final whistle.
Should Kekana and Maseko not be available, Broos has admitted that he does not have replacements yet because he has not thought about it.
"We have two problems. We are awaiting the medical report from Kekana and Maseko. I am a little bit anxious. I am afraid that I may have to replace them. Once we have the medical report, I will know exactly what we can expect from those two players and take a decision or they stay with us. Don't ask me who yet because I have not thought about it," Broos said to media in Pretoria on Monday afternoon.
With Sundowns' players coming from a hectic schedule, Broos says their training sessions will not be too hectic.
"On the other side, it's a difficult camp. When you see what Sundowns players have done in the last six weeks, also the Pirates players...they merely had one day rest. It was always one game to the other, so this will not be a camp like we are used to, on a session level. It will not be the same camp as the others."
"The most important thing will be having players who are fresh on Saturday and next week Tuesday. That's our task. We will see what we do in training. We will train, but the intensity will be very low."
