Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic is skating uphill as Zamalek SC supporters want to see his back sooner than the new year.
The Serbian mentor left Orlando Pirates to join the Egyptian giants earlier this season. Things went pear shaped at the Houghton based outfit amid his departure. Micho is still in Africa but feels like he is on a different planet. The former Pirates coach has an ample experience in Africa having coached the Ugandan Cranes and led Pirates to a second place spot for a consecutive two seasons in a competitive PSL.
With the CAF Champions League a priority in North Africa, Micho has a mammoth of a task to accomplish, when he faces TP Mazembe in his side' next fixture. The Democratic Republic of Congo side won't be an easy side to put to the sword but Micho has his head to save. A self-proclaimed Wolf of Serbia is running against time to win over Zamalek fans.
Pirates is yet to appoint a head coach, with Rulani Mokoena still operating on interim basis. But will Pirates appoint Micho for the third time? There is a saying that goes, one doesn't have to step in the same river twice, bug Micho has already stepped twice in Orlando. He came, gone and came again. Micho has done it all and this is football nothing can't be guaranteed or ruled out.
Pirates supporters are dived over Micho' situation. Some feel he can still lead the club while another portion thinks he has betrayed their trust. Micho is a great coach and no one can question his coaching ability.
Will Micho come back to Mzansi should he get a boat in the tip end of Africa?
