Police in KwaZulu-Natal have confirmed that the Telkom Knockout trophy that had been stolen in Durban has since been found.
In a statement from the South African Police Service, it has been confirmed that the trophy was in a vehicle which was stolen this morning (Friday).
The police have confirmed that the trophy is a replica that is used for promotions, while also adding that there were match tickets in the vehicle.
The Telkom Knockout final between Maritzburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns takes place tomorrow at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium.
