All eyes will be on Moses Mabhida Stadium tonight for the Telkom Knockout final between Maritzburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns, but some players will be forced to miss out.
Maritzburg play in their first ever TKO final this evening in KwaZulu-Natal, while Sundowns are eager to lift this trophy for the second time – and fourth time under it's different names – when they go toe-to-toe at 18h00.
Both teams have looked good on their march to the final of the competition this year, though it's the Team of Choice who had the toughest route after knocking out an in-form Kaizer Chiefs in the semifinals.
Not all players will be available for the game though, with a clause in Jeremy Brockie's loan deal meaning that he can't face his mother club, while Siyanda Xulu and Phumlani Ntshangase – though on the mend – will not be ready to take their place in Eric Tinkler's squad on Saturday.
For Masandawana, there is good news with regards to Denis Onyango who is set to return after recovering from injury, while Gaston Sirion is back in contention again after he served his suspension, though the likes of Phakamani Mahlambi, Sammy Seabi and Oupa Manyisa are still out and won't be able to partake in the spectacle.
The game is due to get underway at 18h00 tonight, with the starting XIs set to be announced an hour or so before kickoff.
