Bongani Zungu InterviewThe last time Zungu spoke to Soccer Laduma, the midfielder had a few things to get off his chest regarding his situation at Amiens SC. With six months left on his contract with the French Ligue 2 outfit at the time, he made it clear he wanted out amidst interest from several suitors in Spain, Turkey, the USA and Saudi Arabia as well as here in Mzansi. Kaizer Chiefs remain keen to lure him back to the Premier Soccer League, but the player and his agent are adamant Zungu has a few more years in Europe. In another honest interview with Soccer Laduma, the 29-year-old opens about his return to action recently, why his former club Mamelodi Sundowns still have a special place in his heart and the devastation of missing out on a Bafana Bafana call-up against France in his own backyard next week.

When Maema signed for Mamelodi Sundowns from Bloemfontein Celtic, co-coach Rhulani Mokwena told the media that they may have finally found a replacement on the left side for Keagan Dolly. For anyone, that would bring about a lot of pressure, but he has handled it quite well and is making his mark with the DStv Premiership holders, competing with some of the country's best attackers for a place in the starting line-up. In a short space of time at Chloorkop, Maema has won the MTN8, he was in the side that made history by recording a first-ever victory over Al Ahly in Cairo and it seems he is well on his way to winning a first Premiership title as a professional. What more could he ask for? Soccer Laduma caught up with the 26-year-old from the Free State to talk about how life at Downs has changed his world.

Njabulo Ngcobo Feature
This season, Njabulo Ngcobo has found himself going from being the 2020-21 PSL Defender of the Season at Swallows to playing in midfield at Kaizer Chiefs. The 27-year-old nicknamed "Roadblock" arrived at Amakhosi to join a coach who had never seen him play. He has been trying to prove himself ever since and has begun to settle into his new role in front of the defence as a holding midfielder. What does his long-term future hold in store? Can he be a Willard Katsande figure for Chiefs and Stuart Baxter, a player that shields the defence for many years to come, helping the club to silverware? How do his stats compare to those of the Zimbabwean destroyer? In this feature, Soccer Laduma looks into these key questions on the back of a disappointing 1-0 loss to Golden Arrows where Ngcobo played his first full 90 minutes since November.

David Mathebula InterviewAfter five long years of service to the club under both Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila and later Marumo Gallants, Mathebula has taken the decision to resign from his position as the club's DStv Diski Challenge head coach. In his interview with Soccer Laduma, the man affectionately known as 'DVD' talks us through his challenging decision to walk away from the club, how he came to that conclusion as well as gives his thoughts on the former professional players that are working their way up through the ranks.
