Adding to this already potent Chiskop frontline, Golden Arrows sharp-shooter, Lerato Lamola, gets the pick alongside Anthony Laffor upfront. Pacey, aggressive and a real fox in the box, the Limpopo-born striker entered professional football later than most.
'Malume', as the likeable marksman is affectionately known, focused on his academic career, while making considerable sacrifices to keep his football dream alive.
According to Soccer Laduma's sister publication, Kick Off, Lamola attended the Tshwane University of Technology and attained a certificate in Law and then also acquired a diploma in Logistics.
Lamola juggling football and academics
"While playing in the Vodacom League I did my Btech part-time at TUT (Tshwane University of Technology), but then had to work night-shift at Inter-Waste from 6pm to 8am, after which I would have training in the afternoon. Luckily my coach, Jerry Sikhosana [at Vardos FC] understood my situation," the Chiskop said.
After his time at Vardos FC, he left semi-professional football for a while and worked in administration, at Inter-Waste.
However, his ability couldn't be ignored. In 2012, National First Division side Roses United signed him, and this was where his career developed wings and flew..
Chiskop makes his PSL debut, aged 27
By the end of his two-year stint in the NFD, Bloemfontein Celtic came calling and, at the age of 27, Malume made his PSL debut for Phunya Sele Sele.
In 189 appearances, Lamola has scored 42 goals and has assisted 23 times, to date.
His best goalscoring season came in 2014/15. It was here where the Chiskop's quality shone through, ending the campaign as the Absa Premiership's second-highest goalscorer, with 13 goals and three assists, despite the off-field problems that hampered the Bloemfontein-based club at the time.
Arrows Malume's preferred destination
Although rumours linking him to the likes of Kaizer Chiefs spread like wildfire, the Chiskop moved to Golden Arrows in 2016 and has continued finding the back of the net.
Lamola's eight goals and six assists proved pivotal, as Abafana Bes'thende ended the 2017/18 season impressively, in eighth place.
And, at the age of 33, Lamola doesn't look ready to hang up his boots just yet, with still the energy of a spring chicken.
