Maritzburg United head coach Eric Tinkler was no in mood to discuss Judas Moseamedi's late strike being ruled out for offside in the Telkom Knockout final.
The Team of Choice had to settle for a runners-up medal after losing 2-1 to Sundowns in the final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Maritzburg nearly took the game to extra-time when Moseamedi nodded past Denis Onyango, but the striker's effort was ruled out for offside in second-half stoppage time.
After the game, Tinkler decided not to comment on the incident and feels coaches shouldn't be doing interviews 10 minutes after the match has finished.
When pressed for comments on Moseamedi's goal being denied, he told SuperSport, "No comment, you shouldn't be asking me this question really.
So ja, move on to the next one please. I should never be doing interviews ten minutes after the game.
Goalkeeper Richard Ofori comitted a costly error that led to Sundowns' equaliser in the second half, and Tinkler claims the Ghanian uses has no problem dealing with balls coming into the box.
"Obviously there was disappointment, I think he hesitated to come [out], that spit second decision that took long, ended up costing him. Normally he would be coming out and collecting those but they are [goalkeepers] only human, they gonna make mistakes, same as referees, so we gotta move on," he said.
