The Malawi player was recently given a few minutes to show what he can do in the KwaZulu-Natal Premier Cup. Now, the coach has stated that Usuthu will see if the player has a chance to prove himself further or if he needs to find another club soon.
Martin spoke to Soccer Laduma in a one-on-one interview at the DStv Premiership Season launch in Randburg on Wednesday afternoon.
The Spaniard noted that every player including Mhango has a chance to prove themselves for the sake of the squad.
"Gabadinho (Mhango) played some minutes in the last game during the KZN Premier Cup," Martin told Soccer Laduma.
"From there, we are looking at options for players and not only him. And we will see what happens whether he will be part of the team or whether he will find options somewhere where there will be a better option for him and his career.
"Here we are going to look at options which are for the team and not individual players. I think now all the players are on the same level and I am expecting him to play a part and we will see what happens after that," the former Simba SC coach told the Siya crew.
