Hendrick 'Pule' Ekstein could be set for an uncertain future at AmaZulu after the Durban-based club appeared to be preparing for next season by signing a sought-after midfielder who had also been on the radar of Kaizer Chiefs.
As reported by the Siya crew, Chiefs and AmaZulu have been among clubs eyeing the services of Marumo Gallants' Celimpilo Ngema, following the 25-year-old attacking midfielder's impressive performances this season.

According to a close source, Ngema has put pen to paper on a pre-contract with Usuthu and is set to reunite with his former coach Romain Folz at the KwaZulu-Natal giants next season, while his signing has put Ekstein's future with the club increasingly in doubt.
"Celimpilo Ngema will be leaving Marumo Gallants at the end of the season. His contract will finish in June, and he has decided against extending it. He has signed a pre-contract with AmaZulu," said the source.
