Unbeaten Spain Edge Switzerland In 5-Goal Thriller

Spain 3-2 Switzerland

Spain finished their League A4 unbeaten after edging Switzerland in a five-goal thriller Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López.

La Roja named a completely different side from their win over Denmark, as Alvaro Morata, Pedri, Nico Williams and Yeremi Pino led the attack.

Pino got the breakthrough for Spain just after the half-hour mark from a rebound after his penalty was initially saved by Yvon Mvogo.

Joel Monteiro levelled matters for Switzerland after the hour-mark from a moment of individual brilliance.

Bryan Gil restored the lead for Spain moments later after he pounced on a loose ball but Andi Zeqiri equalised for The Swiss five minutes before time.

Bryan Zaragoza, however, snatched the winner for La Roja in added time from the penalty spot.

Switzerland were relegated to League B.

Croatia 1-1 Portugal

Croatia qualified for the quarter-finals after a 1-1 draw against Portugal in the final game of League A1 at Stadion Poljud.

The Selecao were without skipper Cristiano Ronaldo, as Joao Cancelo took the armband, with Joao Felix joining Rafael Leao in attack.

Felix broke the deadlock for Portugal just after the half-hour mark with a strike in the box after he was teed up by Vitinha.

Josko Gvardiol levelled matters for Croatia on 65 minutes with a strike after a cross in the box.

Croatia finished in second place in the pool, one point ahead of third-placed Scotland.

Portugal had already qualified for the last eight.

Poland 1-2 Scotland

Scotland will play in the promotion-relegation play-offs after a 2-1 win over relegated Poland in League A1 PGE Narodowy.

John McGinn gave Scotland an early lead from a composed finish in the box and Kamil Piatkowski levelled matters for Poland on the hour-mark.

Andrew Robertson snatched the winner for Tartan Army in added time from a close-range header that went in off the post.

Serbia 0-0 Denmark

Denmark qualified for the quarter-finals after after goalless draw against Serbia in the final game of League A4 at. Stadion Dubocica

Serbia finished the game with ten men after Strahinja Pavlovic got a second booking in the last minutes and was sent off.
