Matchday 2 on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League was one to remember for Dortmund and Atletico Madrid who maintained their 100 percent win record.
Dortmund 3-0 Monaco
Dortmund made it two wins from two with an impressive 3-0 thumping of Monaco in a Group A match at Signal Iduna Park.
After a goalless first half, second half goals from Jacob-Bruun Larsen, Alcacer Paco and Marco Reus handed the German side the three points which sees them at the top of Group A with six points (and a superior goal difference to Atletico Madrid).
The loss for Monaco leaves them at the foot of the standings with zero points.
Atletico Madrid 3-1 Club Brugge
A brace from Antoine Griezmann helped Atletico Madrid secure an impressive 3-1 win over Club Brugge in a Group A match at Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
Griezman opened the scoring in the 28th minute, before Arnaut Groeneveld levelled matters for Brugge in the 39th minute to make it 1-1 at the break.
Goals in the second half from Griezmann in the 67th minute and Koke in stoppage time handed Atletico their second win in as many matches in Group A, leaving them second on the standings and Brugge third with zero points.
PSV 1-2 Inter Milan
First half goals from Pablo Rosario and Radja Nainggolan handed Inter Milan a 2-1 win away from home over PSV in a Group B match at Philips Stadion.
The win is Inter's second in as many matches as they sit second in Group B with six points, only behind leaders Barcelona on goal difference.
PSV are bottom of the standings with zero points.
Porto 1-0 Galatasaray
A 49th minute goal from Moussa Marega handed Porto a slender 1-0 win over Galatasaray in a Group D match at the Estádio do Dragão.
