It has been confirmed which 16 European teams have cemented their place in the next round of the UEFA Champions League, with two Premier League clubs having been knocked out!

The group-stage phase of Europe's elite club competition concluded on Wednesday night.
While top teams such as Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid finished their respective groups in first place, more sides have now joined them in the knockout round.
On Wednesday night, Paris Saint-Germain booked their spot following a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in Group F, which was dubbed this season's "group of death".
Newcastle United, meanwhile, crashed out of the tournament after losing 2-1 at St. James' Park to AC Milan, meaning only two Premier League clubs – City and Arsenal – have progressed after Manchester United's failed efforts on Tuesday.
From Spain, Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid have joined Barca and Los Blancos in the round of 16.
