Chelsea superstar Thiago Silva has responded to the news that one of his teammates has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United.

It appears the experienced Brazil centre-back is saddened by the reports suggesting Mason Mount could be preparing to ditch the Blues for United ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Reports in England claim that the 24-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Carabao Cup winners and FA Cup finalists, with his contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire in 2024.
Interim manager Frank Lampard has also previously given credence to similar reports, leading to the belief that the England international will be leaving his boyhood club for one of their Premier League rivals.

Silva left two tearful-face emojis in the comments section of an Instagram post that detailed the report, with the Metro believing it could be an accurate portrayal of his feelings about the possibility of losing his colleague.
It is claimed the 20-time English champions will still need to reach an agreement with Chelsea amid suggestions his signature could come with a price tag of more than £50 million (R1.2 billion).
