Liverpool Transfer News: 8 Out?

Liverpool Transfer News: 8 Out?

With three matches remaining for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, eight players are expected to follow the German out of the club in the coming transfer window.

Significant changes are expected at the Reds at the end of the season, with Klopp having already announced that this season will be his last at Anfield after eight years.

The German shocked fans in January when he communicated that he will move on following the conclusion of this campaign, two years earlier than anticipated, leading to questions over the futures of several players at the club.

According to Liverpool Echo, as many as eight players could also leave the Merseyside side in the coming months, including Colombian winger Luis Diaz.

Back-up goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who has served impressively as first-choice shot-stopper Allison's understudy, is another who could bid farewell to Liverpool in the upcoming window.

Greece international Kostas Tsimikas is another first-team star linked with a move away from the club, as are a number of players currently out on loan, including attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho.

The Portuguese youngster has been on loan at Hull City in the EFL Championship since January, and has battled to make an impression when turning out for the Reds.

Tyler Morton, Nat Phillips, Sepp van den Berg and Calvin Ramsay are also reportedly set for exits, having all spent the 2023/24 season out on loan.

Like Carvalho, Morton is on Hull City's books until the end of the season, Phillips has been at Cardiff City, Van den Berg is at Mainz in Germany and Ramsay at Bolton Wanderers.
