Despite only recently signing a contract extension with Gli Azzurri, the Lagos native is expected to leave the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for big money when the 2023/24 campaign concludes.
Earlier this year, the president of last season's Serie A champions, Aurelio De Laurentiis, claimed that Osimhen was likely to leave the Italian side for either PSG, Real Madrid or a Premier League outfit.

According to Sky Italia, his next club is now unlikely to be PSG as it is believed that a return to Ligue 1 does not excite him, with the Super Eagles frontman having spent the 2019/20 season in the French top flight playing for Lille before securing a move to the south of Italy.
Instead, Osimhen would prefer a move to England, with the same report claiming that the 25-year-old spends a lot of his free time with his friends there and would be more receptive of a move to the Premier League.

Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be the main contenders for last season's Serie A Golden Boot winner, but it is the latter who are believed to have already begun talks over a possible deal as they look to beat their London rivals to his signature.
