An update has been issued on the young Italian footballer who suddenly collapsed during a big Serie A match on Sunday.

Italian midfielder Edoardo Bove has been extubated 13 hours after collapsing during the match between Inter Milan and Fiorentina, which was suspended following the 22-year-old's distressing incident.
As reported by La Repubblica, it has been confirmed that the player has not sustained any brain or heart damage.
The 14th matchday of Serie A was overshadowed by the alarming collapse of Bove, which occurred just 19 minutes into the game.
The young midfielder collapsed on the pitch and was stretchered off unconscious, prompting widespread concern among fans and those present at the stadium.
The match was immediately suspended, and later that evening, it was reported that the Fiorentina midfielder, who is on loan from Roma, had regained consciousness and was breathing on his own.
This information was later confirmed by renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
According to Romano, Bove was extubated 13 hours after the incident and is now awake, conscious and able to respond to questions.

Additionally, La Repubblica has reported that the 22-year-old is not suffering from any brain or heart damage, offering relief to fans and the football community alike.
