A European giant has reportedly revealed the price they want for CAF's newly crowned Player of the Year.

Last week, African football's governing body hosted its annual prize-giving, and the final award of the night, the Men's Player of the Year, was given to a Nigerian for a second successive year as Ademola Lookman took home the prestigious honour.
In 2024, the attacker helped the Super Eagles reach the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final and guided his club, Atalanta, to their first-ever major European honour by winning the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League, scoring a hat-trick in the final.
The London-born winger is now allegedly sought after by some of Europe's biggest teams, and it is said that La Dea know they will not be able to hold onto their talisman for much longer but are unwilling to let him leave cheaply.
According to Belgian transfer expert Sacha Tavoreili, the Italian outfit have placed a €50 million (R959 million) price tag on Lookman for the off-season transfer window.
The Bergamo-based club are currently first in Serie A and look set to qualify for the UEFA Champions League playoff knockout round at the very least. It is alleged they do not want to lose the Nigerian star in the mid-season transfer window while they push for major honours.

For this reason, they are likely to part ways with him when the campaign reaches its conclusion. However, any team keen on luring him away from the Gewiss Stadium will need to pay the aforementioned fee.
