After his stint in charge of Saudi Arabia between 2019 and 2023, the French tactician took on the challenge of coaching France's women's side for the Paris Olympics.
The 56-year-old ultimately failed in his bid to win silverware as France crashed out of the competition at the quarter-final stage.
Renard has since become available once again as teams and organisations in the Middle East contemplate his possible appointment.
According to Foot Mercato, the 2012 and 2015 Africa Cup of Nations-winning manager has received approaches from Saudi Pro League clubs Al Ahli and Al Qadsiah.
The ex-Ivory Coast boss' reputation in Saudi remains strong after masterminding the national team's 2-1 victory over Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Sides from other nations in the Middle East are also believed to have expressed an interest in Renard, whose last club role came at Lille in 2015.
