Former Brazil international striker Hulk is preparing to marry his ex-wife's niece, Camila Angelo, in a religious wedding ceremony this December.
The Atletico Mineiro forward, who had already married Camila in a civil ceremony back in 2020, is set to formalise the union in front of family and friends in a religious celebration.
In a twist that may surprise some, Hulk was previously married to Camila's aunt, Iran Angelo, with whom he spent 12 years. The couple shares three children – sons Ian and Tiago, and daughter Alice – who are cousins to Camila.
Hulk's relationship with Camila sparked widespread attention when they tied the knot in 2020, just months after the end of his long marriage to Iran. The pair had been married for 12 years, and their separation in 2019 was followed by Hulk's relationship with Camila being made public.
Atletico Mineiro, who Hulk plays for, are still in contention for the prestigious CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup, which could extend their season and potentially delay Hulk's wedding plans.
Should they advance, the club could also compete in the FIFA Intercontinental Club Cup, further complicating the timing of the ceremony.
The 38-year-old Hulk, who scored 11 goals in 49 appearances for Brazil between 2009 and 2021, was part of the squad that won the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
On the club front, he is best remembered for his time at Porto, where he won multiple league titles and the Europa League between 2008 and 2012. Hulk also enjoyed successful spells at Zenit St Petersburg and Shanghai SIPG.
