Following his free-agent departure from Manchester United at the end of last season, striker Anthony Martial remains available to be signed for the 2024/25 season.

The 28-year-old was once considered one of Europe's top attacking talents, but was told his deal would not be extended by the Red Devils earlier this year.

Despite his fitness issues in recent times, Martial has a lot of experience, having represented one of English's biggest clubs between 2015 and 2024, during which he contributed to 137 goals.

His compatriot, Adrien Rabiot, is another high-profile free agent. The midfielder, who starred for France at the 2024 UEFA European Championship, left Juventus at the start of July.

Memphis Depay and Dele Alli are also still in search of new teams for the campaign, while ex-Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is reportedly seeking a return to Europe following his performances in the United States for Colombia at the 2024 Copa America.

The 33-year-old was named the Best Player of that tournament over June and July, and later terminated his deal at Sao Paulo in Brazil in order to get back to playing at the top club level.

Mats Hummels, meanwhile, is still without a club after parting ways with Borussia Dortmund in June, while the legendary Sergio Ramos is another looking for a new side to turn out for.
