Zinedine Zidane left Real Madrid's pre-season tour of North America on Friday and the club have now explained why the Frenchman returned home.

Los Blancos, who finished trophyless last season, are currently in Montreal, Canada to prepare for the 2019/2020 campaign.
The club announced that Zidane left the team on Friday due to attend a person matter with his family.
"Our manager, Zinedine Zidane, has left the pre-season training camp in Montreal for personal reasons," Madrid said in a statement.
"Until he returns, sessions will be led by assistant coach David Bettoni." Spanish publication AS report that Zidane is expected to join up with the squad before their first International Cup clash against Bayern Munich on 20 July.
