In recent days, there has been significant movement regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold's future amid the uncertainty surrounding his future.
The England international has reportedly informed Liverpool that he will not be signing a new contract, meaning he is set to leave the Premier League leaders when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
As a result, the Spanish giants have emerged as firm favourites to secure his signature, having already taken steps to finalise a pre-contract agreement, which could be signed as early as next week.
According to Diario AS, the deal is said to be "90% done."
Real are highly confident of completing the signing of Alexander-Arnold, 26, in January, ahead of his official arrival next summer.
