The Italian has enjoyed the privilege of training many of the sport's most high-profile footballers, after being in charge of the famous AC Milan side that won the 2007 UEFA Champions League title.
Names such as Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Nesta and Andrea Pirlo were part of that particular squad, while Brazilian superstars Ronaldinho and Ronaldo Nazario later joined Ancelotti's Milan before his eventual departure in 2009.
The legendary coach, however, overlooked some of those aforementioned players as he named the five best players he has coached, with ex-Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo unsurprisingly headlining his selection.
Ancelotti coached the Portuguese between 2013 and 2015, a period in which the Portuguese scored an incredible 112 goals in 101 matches for the Spanish giants.
Speaking on Italian television show Che Tempo Fa, Ancelotti did select Ronaldo Nazario, as well as two of the his current stars Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema. Ancelotti has worked with the latter over two spells as Real head coach.
Completing his five-man list was towering Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whom Ancelotti managed at Paris Saint-Germain for a single season in 2012/13. In 46 appearances under the tactician, the forward contributed to 53 goals.
