Los Blancos have already received €115 million (R1.8 billion) from player sales, with the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Marcos Llorente, Raul de Tomas and Theo Hernandez all being sold to bring in cash to balance the books.

However, after an early splurge in the transfer window, which saw the club spend more than €300 million (R4.7 billion) on the arrivals of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo Goes, the Spanish giants still want to sell more of their players.

According to REAL TOTAL, "operation exit" has slowed down a bit in recent weeks, with Los Blancos' asking prices believed to be quite high.

The club, though, definitely wants to sell at least three more stars, namely James Rodriguez, Borja Mayoral and Lucas Silva, while the futures of six others are still uncertain.

It has been claimed that Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas remain on the axe list, but there have been no potential suitors thus far.

Dani Ceballos has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, while Jesus Vallejo and Mariano Diaz could also still leave, although latest signs indicate that the duo might stay.

Brahim Diaz, who joined the club in January this year, could be loaned out, which would allow new Japanese sensation Takefusa Kubo to move permanently into the first-team squad after impressing in pre-season so far.
