Real Madrid 'Take New Stance' On Mbappe & Bellingham

Real Madrid 'Take New Stance' On Mbappe & Bellingham

Real Madrid have reportedly taken a new stance on long-term targets Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.

According to Marca, Los Blancos will not be pursuing either the 2022 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner or the Borussia Dortmund star in the upcoming transfer window.

The record European champions are reportedly not keen to spend a lot of money ahead of next season after the acquisitions of Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga in recent windows.

It is said the purchases of the French duo have put the Spanish giants off making an expensive move for Bellingham, which opens the possibility of the England international making his way to the Premier League instead.

Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with the teenage sensation, and with the central midfielder heavily tipped to make an exit from Signal Iduna Park at the end of the season, it now appears likely that he will return to his nation of birth.

In the case of Mbappe, it seems that Los Merengues have become disillusioned with their pursuit of the Frenchman. The 24-year-old signed a lucrative extension with his hometown club in May last year, and luring him to the Santiago Bernabeu would take a substantial fee, money the LaLiga champions are perhaps not willing to spend at this moment.

The Bondy native's contract at the Parc des Princes expires at the end of next season, but it does include an option to extend for a further year. The same report suggests that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is likely to stay put in the French capital beyond the next window despite the speculation surrounding his future.
