According to Fichajes, Los Blancos are contemplating a player-plus-cash deal that could see midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni make his way to Anfield.
With Alexander-Arnold having entered the final year of his contract in England, Real reportedly see a prime opportunity to lure the Three Lions international to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Liverpool, reportedly on the lookout for midfield reinforcements, could find the prospect of Tchouameni appealing, potentially making the swap easier to negotiate.
While the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners have ruled out any discussion involving forward Rodrygo, they are reportedly open to sending Tchouameni in exchange for the talented defender.
The French midfielder, who joined the Spanish giants in 2022 for €80 million (R1.5 billion), featured in 38 matches last season and demonstrated his versatility by stepping in as a centre-back on 10 occasions.
Despite being a regular fixture in Carlo Ancelotti's strongest XI, Real are said to be willing to let Tchouameni go if it means landing Alexander-Arnold's signature.

Bringing the Liverpool man to Madrid would undoubtedly bolster their defensive line, especially with Dani Carvajal's long-term injury creating a vacancy in the right-back position.
