A long-serving member of Real Madrid's first team has reportedly decided he will leave the club after snubbing a new deal from the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners.

Spain international Marco Asensio, 27, is said to be edging closer to a departure from the Santiago Bernabeu.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the midfielder will communicate his decision in the coming days, with Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League clubs among his potential suitors.

Asensio will see his contract at Los Blancos expire at the end of June after reportedly choosing to reject the chance to continue at the club.
The Spaniard joined Real from Mallorca in 2015 and has since contributed to an impressive 93 goals in 285 appearances, winning 15 trophies in the process.

With one match of the season remaining, Asensio has largely been used as a rotational player by Carlo Ancelotti this term, although he has still managed to play a direct hand in 20 strikes across all competitions.
