According to The Athletic, Los Blancos are willing to listen to offers for Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos after he asked to leave the club before the end of the window.
The 28-year-old appeared to be staying put until his last-minute request, which could leave Los Blancos light in midfield.
Real have allowed academy graduates Nico Paz and Mario Martin to leave in recent weeks, after initially being lined up as potential replacements for Ceballos.
The former Real Betis man still has three years remaining on his deal in Madrid following his extension in 2023.
Ceballos is reportedly looking for more first-team opportunities at club level, having been mainly used as back-up in midfield under Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian tactician and Real's board are said to not be looking to convince Ceballos to stay at the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners.
They only want players at the club who want to be there, and will seek to bring in around €15 million (R297.3 million) in exchange for his signature.

Los Blancos are also not in favour of letting Ceballos leave on loan, and will reportedly consider signing a replacement midfielder should he depart.
