The Brazil international has been linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia in recent months, though he has insisted he has ambitions of playing for Los Blancos for his entire career.
His agents, meanwhile, have acknowledged there is interest from a club in the Saudi Pro League, with it rumoured his signature would cost between €400 million (R7.2 billion) and €500 million (R9.1 billion).
Sport reports there has been a continuous back and forth between Vinicius and the club over his future ahead of potential contract renewal, with his current deal expiring in 2027.
It is further claimed a growing number of voices in president Florentino Perez's camp, which includes his son Chivo, are advising him to sell the 24-year-old.
Chivo's popularity is reportedly increasing behind the scenes within the club and in his father's businesses outside of the Spanish giants.
This sentiment centres around the issues Mbappe has experienced since his arrival in Madrid, with it believed selling Vinicius could allow the Frenchman to find his place in the side.
The France captain is currently being used as the team's central striker, but would prefer to occupy his teammate's position on the left of Real's attack.
