This past weekend, Paris Saint-Germain made the shock decision to exclude their talismanic forward from their pre-season tour of Asia as the two parties continue their contract stand-off.
The French club seem to be firm in their stance of not involving the Bondy native in the team if he will not extend his stay with the club.
Los Blancos have been long-time suitors of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, and in light of the aforementioned news, president of the record European champions Perez was once again asked about his side's interest in Mbappe, with the Spanish executive claiming that he was relaxed about the situation.
"I am always calm," he told LaSexta. "Today, we vote, we don't think of anything else, it's a very important subject for the Spaniards."
The six-time Ligue 1 winner is entering the final 12 months of a PSG contract yet again, but this time he has made it known to the club he will not be triggering the one-year extension in it or signing a new deal with Les Parisiens.
