During this past international break, Brahim Diaz has emerged as an integral figure for the Moroccan national team.
Recruited by the Atlas Lions at the start of the year, the 25-year-old has now scored seven goals and provided two assists in the eight appearances he has made for the North African giants.
Five of those goals have come during this international break against Gabon and Lesotho, respectively. While he is establishing his prominence within Walid Regragui's side, Los Blancos are confident he can do the same at club level.
Since returning from his hamstring injury earlier in the campaign, Carlo Ancelotti and the chiefs at Valdebebas are said to have been impressed with the forward's application on the pitch, both offensively and defensively.
The Spanish giants plan on counting on him, especially in the weeks to come, with Rodrygo poised to be sidelined.
Reports in Italy have suggested that AC Milan are interested in possibly signing the Spanish-born attacker permanently, but Marca claims that Los Merengues have no intention of parting ways with the Malaga native.

Diaz's contract at the Santiago Bernabeu ends in 2027, and while this could potentially leave the door slightly ajar for interested parties to pounce on the opportunity to sign him, Real are not in a rush to offer him a new deal but plan on giving him a lengthy extension when they deem it the right time.
