Real Madrid legend Jose Antonio Camacho is convinced Zinedine Zidane won't be sacked if Los Blancos lose to FC Barcelona on Saturday.
Madrid head into the encounter on the back of two successive defeats in LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League.
There have been reports that Zidane only two matches to save his job, with former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino said to be a possible replacement.
Camacho, a nine-time league with Real, does not believe Zidane's job will be on the line if his side suffer defeat in the Spanish capital.
"I don't think that Zidane will be sacked if they lose," the former left-back told Sport.
"He has the backing of the president and should continue, although in football you can't look back and it's quite cruel sometimes."
Los Blancos will be boosted by the return of captain and star defender Sergio Ramos.
"Ramos is a special player, he's breaking records and has a lot of weight in the dressing room and outside it, for his physical and human characteristics," Camacho added.
