The Wales international had been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in recent weeks after being deemed surplus to requirements by Zidane.

Now according to BBC Sport, the 30-year-old is close to agreeing a deal with Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu Suning.

It is being reported that Bale will sign a three-year deal with the Chinese side and will earn £1million a week.

Bale has been active on Los Blancos' tour of America recently and also found the back of the net against Arsenal during the week.
