Real Madrid Transfer News: 3 In?

Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly identified three players they want to sign in the next transfer window.

According to AS, the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners are plotting a switch for Chelsea right-back Reece James as a long-term replacement for veteran fullback Dani Carvajal.

It is suggested that the Spanish side could be looking to take advantage of the Blues' financial situation, which might force the London club to sell one or two high-profile players to meet Financial Fair Play requirements.

James is among the most highly-rated right-backs in world football, although his importance in the team could mean Chelsea refuse to entertain offers for his signature despite the possible economic boost his sale could give the club.

Fichajes claims Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane is another target for the reigning LaLiga champions, who could act on their interest should Marco Asensio leave Real as a free agent at the end of the campaign.

Sane's current deal in the Bundesliga expires in 2025, with a number of clubs across Europe believed to be keeping tabs on him.

Defensa Central, meanwhile, have suggested that Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus has also been lined up as a potential target as a possible alternative to Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and Manchester City's Erling Haaland.

Luring the Brazilian away from the Gunners, though, would be a difficult task given his current status in London.
