After returning to the club's training ground on Monday, the Frenchman is reportedly set to come face to face with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi on Tuesday for the first time since being publicly informed he will be sold should he not commit to new terms before 31 July.
Mbappe, 24, recently issued the Ligue 1 champions with a formal letter in which he told the club he will not be extending his contract beyond June 2024.
The striker later sought to clarify his situation after Al-Khelaifi and company were said to react furiously to his message, insisting he has no intention to leave the club in this transfer window.
The club's chief, however, has stated that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner will have no future at PSG if he does not renew his deal at least until 2025, amid rumours Real Madrid are hoping to land his signature for free next year.
According to Sky Sports, Al-Khelaifi will reportedly host an important team meeting on Tuesday to "stress the importance" of PSG's ambitions and aims, as well as of the players being fully behind new manager Luis Enrique.
It is still uncertain as to whether or not Mbappe will give into Al-Khelaifi's demands, with it widely believed he is looking to remain in Paris in order to secure a significant loyalty bonus agreed upon when he signed his most recent extension at the club in 2022.
