According to Goal, the Ligue 1 champions could report the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners to FIFA amid rumours they have a private agreement with their talisman.
Mbappe is up for sale at PSG, but a conclusion over his future could still be some way off due to his apparent desire to only leave the French giants when his contract expires in 2024.
It is thought that the France international plans to join Los Blancos as a free agent next year, with Spanish publications having claimed the LALIGA giants are not willing to spend big on the 24-year-old.
Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti has since addressed claims that the Madrid-based side could be reported to FIFA by PSG after speculation emerged suggesting they have agreed to pay Mbappe a signing-on bonus of €160 million without Les Parisiens' authorisation.
"Nothing surprises me," he said.
"I don't know about this matter. It is something political in which I do not enter. I leave the political."
