Dybala, 24, is currently one of the best young attackers in Europe, something that was once said of Messi, who made his senior Blaugrana debut in 2004.
The Juventus forward has admitted that, although he has always looked up to Ronaldinho, his countryman Messi is like Diego Maradona for him.
"I've always admired Ronaldinho but Messi is like Maradona for me," he told France Football.
"It's an honour to play alongside him in the national team.
"I don't feel the pressure of being the new Messi, it's not a bad thing for a footballer, it only depends on how you take it."
