Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier has insisted that Kylian Mbappe is ''not above the club'' and is treated equally to his co-stars Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Osimhen Accused Of Sabotaging Nigerian National Team
When Mbappe inked an extension with PSG late last season, the French superstar made a spectacular U-turn after many expected the 23-year-old to sign with Real Madrid.
Many speculated that the club gave the attacker executive powers in an attempt to stop him from joining a European rival, but Galtier has now appeared set the record straight. The French tactician says the Paris native does not enjoy any preferential treatment and is on the same pedestal as the other players in the squad, including Messi and Neymar.
"He embodies the project, there can be no doubt," Galtier told RMC Sport.
"But when I say that he embodies the project, it is not that he is above the club.
"Kylian is at the same level as all the other players. On the same level as Leo Messi who has an incredible career, who is the greatest player in the history of football. Kylian is on the same level as Neymar."

Last month, reports emerged that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner was unhappy with the club and that he wanted to leave the Parc des Princes as soon as January. While Mbappe did refute these claims, Galtier has now also confirmed that the France international will continue with his hometown side after snubbing Los Blancos.
"Obviously he is in love with Paris Saint-Germain, but he had a very attentive eye on Real Madrid," the PSG boss added.
"He made the decision to stay. Thank you for our Ligue 1, for PSG, for the players and for me. He made a strong decision and he must be respected for that. He is respectable."
