Ronaldo Finally Breaks Silence, Says He Does Not Respect Ten Hag!
Messi has overcome his tumultuous debut campaign at Paris Saint-Germain by returning to world-class form this season at the Parc des Princes.
The Argentina captain already has 12 goals and has assisted 14 times in all competitions for Les Parisiens as he looks to re-establish himself as the best player in world.
While he seems to be enjoying his football in Ligue 1, rumours continue to swirl about a potential return to the Camp Nou and according to club president Joan Laporta, he would be happy to welcome the playmaker back to the club.
"Leo knows that at Barca he always has his home," Laporta told Sport.
"But let me not talk about Leo because he is a player for another team, and we would enter again into a series of statements and counter-statements that would not benefit us at all.
"He has a valid contract with a European club. I can only say that Leo has been the best player in the history of Barca."
Messi left Catalonia under a cloud of financial instability and while it does still hang over the club, the Blaugrana have managed to find ways to alleviate the burden.
It means Barca are now able to sign, and, while Laporta has admitted they will once again be looking to strengthen in January, there will not be any big money arrivals at the beginning of 2023.

"We're thinking of improving the squad, as always. But it won't be easy to find stronger players in January,'' he added.
"We're gonna have problems with Financial Fair Play as we're no longer in the Champions League.''
