The Miami-based franchise announced on Monday that they will travel to Saudi Arabia over January and February next year as part of their pre-season plans.
The Herons, likely to be led by captain Messi, will take on current Saudi Pro League leaders Al Hilal on 29 January, before going up against Ronaldo's Al Nassr on 1 February.
This will provide the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and his former LALIGA rival the chance to do battle once again, with their first meeting in Europe coming in 2008, in a game between Barcelona and Manchester United.
"These matches will offer important tests for our team, which will benefit us as we approach the new season," Miami's chief soccer officer and sporting director Chris Henderson said, according to France24.
Messi and Ronaldo met earlier this year when the Argentine represented Paris Saint-Germain and his counterpart led a Saudi All Star XI in a game that ended 5-4 to the French giants.
