With Manchester United set to continue to strengthen after reportedly agreeing terms for Donny van de Beek, the club is said to have turned its attention to a Zambian international striker.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils have joined the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg forward Patson Daka following his excellent 2019/20 season.
Daka, a Zambia international, scored twice in his club's 2-2 draw with Liverpool in a friendly last week, and could reportedly be available for £20 million (R443 million).
The Reds, among other big clubs across the world, are also believed to be monitoring the attacker's situation after he scored 27 goals in 45 games in the previous campaign.
United, meanwhile, are said to have other transfer targets too, such as Aston Villa's Jack Grealish, while Van de Beek is reportedly close to joining the English giants from Ajax Amsterdam.
Daka has played 83 senior matches for Salzburg, scoring 34 times and assisting a further 15 strikes.
