Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly given the green light for the Red Devils' next departure in this transfer window.
The Premier League giants have already seen Alexis Sanchez join Inter Milan on a permanent deal, with reports suggesting that United did not receive any fee to get the Chilean off their wage bill.
However, the Manchester club's transfer plans continue to take shape, and Tahith Chong is seemingly the next player allowed to leave.
According to the Daily Mirror, the 20-year-old has been given the green light to join Werder Bremen on loan.
After learning of the interest from the Bundesliga side, the winger reportedly asked Solskjaer if he could leave and the Norwegian agreed to the temporary switch.
"Mr Solskjaer kept his promise from March and told Tahith that he can leave the club," Erkan Alkan, the player's agent, told Bild.
"The boy really wants to go to Werder. He wants to be part of the preparation as soon as possible so that he can quickly find his way around."
Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann has also confirmed the Bundesliga side's interest in the winger, but the clubs still need to agree the terms of the potential loan.
"He is very fast, he comes in from the wing – he fits our profile," Baumann told Weser Kurier.
"He has speed and dribbling well. That makes it exciting for us. He's a player to deal with.
"We can add two or three more players. Borrowing guys from top clubs like this can make sense to us. Because of our situation, he's a player who could be interesting."
