Ever since the Red Devils' 3-1 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League, there has seemingly been a dark cloud hovering over Old Trafford.
Dutch tactician Erik ten Hag left Sancho out of the aforementioned matchday squad, attributing his lack of consistency in training as the reason for his absence.
The English winger would publicly refute his manager's sentiments, claiming he was being made a scapegoat, and since then there have been rumours regarding some serious tension between the pair.
The sentiment of the statement from the club suggests that the news emanating from Carrington is true, with the record Premier League champions setting the record straight about the forward's current situation.
"Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue," the statement on the club's official website read.

This will be the 23-year-old's second exile from the first team in 2023, having also been involved in isolated training in January. On that occasion, Ten Hag cited fitness and mental health reasons for the London native's absence, as opposed to disciplinary issues.
