Manchester United have officially announced their first signing of the transfer window, spending R830.3 million to secure his signature.

The Red Devils have confirmed the acquisition of Netherlands international Joshua Zirkzee, a striker who represented his country at the 2024 UEFA European Championship.

The 23-year-old arrives at Old Trafford from Serie A outfit Bologna, who will reportedly be paid €42.5 million (R830.3 million) over three years for his services.
Zirkzee enjoyed an impressive 2023/24 season in Italy, contributing to 16 goals in 34 league matches and winning the Serie A Best Young Player award.
The former Bayern Munich forward, who has penned a five-year deal in Manchester, becomes Erik ten Hag's first signing of the window.
