Manchester United have broken their silence on the charges being dropped against Mason Greenwood on Thursday afternoon.
The 21-year-old was due to stand trial over allegations of allegations of rape, assault and coercive behaviour following his arrest in January last year.
Charges Against Greenwood Dropped
The Greater Manchester Police, however, confirmed on Thursday that Greenwood will not be facing criminal proceedings after the charges were dropped.
The Red Devils have since announced the club will doing their own investigation before making a decision on Greenwood's future in Manchester.

Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped.
The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps. We will not make any further comment until that process is complete.
