Manchester United have provided an update on club captain Harry Maguire after he was arrested in Greece earlier this week.
Reports surfaced on Friday that Maguire had been arrested in Greece after a fight broke out, although it was claimed the defender had fought with police and was taken into custody after that.
The Mirror reported that the England international appeared in court on Saturday where he plead not guilty, with the case now being postponed until 25 August.
Maguire was allowed to return to the United Kingdom after court ajourned and the Red Devils have since released a statement.
"Following the appearance in court we note the adjournment of the case to allow the legal team to consider the case file.
"Harry has pleaded not guilty to the charges. It would be inappropriate for the player or club to comment further while legal process takes its course."
